How do I register for The Place to B?

You will be sent an email with a link to your personalised registration page. Follow the prompts to register your attendance and indicate which events you will be attending.

Please note - these links are personalised for each of you, so please do not forward the link to another attendee.

Click on 'Register' on any page within The Place to B website, follow the prompts to regsiter your attendance, and which events you will be attending.

At the conclusion of this process you will be emailed a registration confirmation along with your receipt of payment.

What are my accommodation options?

For accessibility & convenience, please click here (SKYCITY/ SKYCITY GRAND) to view the hotel rates and make a booking at the SKYCITY and SKYCITY Grand Hotels. (Please quote the Bayleys Conference in the comments box).

For phone bookings, please call 0800 SKYCITY and advise the reservations team that you are making a booking for the Bayleys Conference.

What is the process for registration at the conference on Thursday 4th August?

When you arrrive at SKYCITY Convention Centre you should head straight for the Auckland Room - Level 4 to register. The Soirette's will be there to welcome, register you and answer any questions you have.

What if I want to attend multiple Divisional Days, or I can't decide what I am?

What are the dress codes for the conference?

Payment for conference?

Payment can be made online at time of registration with your credit card. Visa and Mastercard are accepted and all transactions are processed via a secure online DPS system.

If you require assistance with payment, please speak to your Manager directly.

What are the check-in times at the hotel?

Check in time at SKYCITY hotels is 2pm.
We have asked for check-in priority for all Bayleys delegates that book through SKYCITY, but this will be dependent on availabilty. Every endeavour will be made to have your room ready as soon as possible for you. If your room is not available the hotel will check you in and take your luggage to your room once it becomes available.

Can I organise my own accommodation?

Absolutely..

What is the policy on cancelling my registration?

No refund will be given for cancellations within 14 days of the start of the conference date. Please call us if you wish to transfer your registration.

Do I get a discount if I only want to come to part of the conference?

The Place to B is based on the two day conference and associated costs, including the two evening events. Unfortunately we cannot offer a discount rate for reduced attendance.

Can I come to the Awards dinner only?

Please contact the Soiree Team (Ph: 09 302 2795 or email events@soiree.co.nz) if you would like to purchase tickets to the Awards dinner only.

Tickets are $175 + GST per person.

Can I bring my partner to the Awards dinner?

We welcome your partners attendance to the Bayleys Awards Dinner. You can purchase a ticket for your partner during the registration process.

The cost for your partner to attend is $175 + GST

Where will I find my lost property?

All lost property will be collected, sifted through (for haute couture labels) and stored at the registration desk for you to redeem.
